You are very welcome to come and stay at my home in Venice. I am the owner of an old Venetian house which has been lavishly restored in the last few years. I offer occasional ‘bed and breakfast’ accommodation to guests visiting this most magical city. If you are interested in coming to stay please write to me using the “contact” page on this site.
I offer a simple ‘continental breakfast’ to start you on your day. This consists of tea / coffee, croissants and fruit to which you help yourself in the dining room. Should this prove insufficient for your needs, there are many cafés nearby which can offer a more extensive menu.
I hope that guests will feel at home in my house. That is the point of staying here rather than a hotel. After a hard day’s foot-slogging around the museums and streets of Venice you will enjoy being able to relax with a drink in the sitting room or garden and listen to the evening serenade of gondolas gliding by. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the dining room at all times. The sitting room and garden are always open to guests. There is also free wi-fi, computer, satellite TV, stereo and even a concert piano in the sitting room for those who wish to practice their scales!
I do not offer cooking facilities. If this is a requirement you should search for a self-catering apartment.
All four bedrooms have their own private bathroom, three of them en-suite. Your bedroom will be cleaned daily and your sheets and towels changed regularly.
Please note that I do not generally take bookings for groups of more than four persons.
I hope to see you soon.
